The beginning of summer brings a nostalgic feeling to the surface of our minds. Itching with the anticipation of summer, Memorial Day has always been a gateway to a summer full of fresh air and freedom.  Can you remember counting down the days, just longing to swim in that cool blue pool?

Luckily, our children have the privilege of enjoying the best parks around! Oldham County Parks offer everything from the wide open spaces of our Nature Preserves to the top of the line John W. Black Aquatic center.  With such great destinations, you can enjoy all the the summer has to offer right here at home!

This Sunday marks the opening day of the  John W. Black Aquatic Center’s summer schedule.  With pool passes, swim lessons, pool parties and group rates available, you and your family have a large range of ways to enjoy some fun in the sun!
