Remarkable places in Historic Downtown LaGrange, Kentucky. McDowell’s Pharmacy on Main Street in LaGrange. The McDowell Pharmacy was once owned by Mayor D.C. McDowell who died when the chimney of one of the businesses collapsed on the Mayor after a widespread fire downtown. The McDowell Pharmacy changed locations across the street from where the Mayor died.
