Library Media Center

The Library Media Center plays an integral role in the education of children. Here in Oldham County, we believe that it is our responsibility to help enrich, supplement, and coordinate the existing educational programs in a manner which supports the philosophy of the Oldham County School District. Our central mission is “to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.” Working together as a community of media specialists, we hope to help all members of our school community in their quest to be life long learner.

Experienced Teachers

We are extremely proud of the expertise and experience of our staff. OCS consistently has high percentages of teachers who meet the federal government’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements and who hold National Board Teacher Certification.
